TORRANCE, Calif. – Darrian Williams-Youngblood recorded his first double-double of the season but it was not enough as El Camino College fell to Golden West 75-71 Friday night at the ECC Gym Complex.

Williams-Youngblood score a team-best 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as four Warriors scored in double figures but the Rustlers got 22 points from Ricky Briseno to squeak out the win.

The teams were tied six times and exchanged the lead on 11 occasions but the Warriors could not execute late, committing two costly turnovers when they had possessions to possibly tie the game or take the lead with inside one minute left in regulation.

Jamal Howard added 12 points while Jason Vasquez and Jerald Mitchell each scored 10 points in the loss.

The Warriors will return to action Wednesday as they host Santiago Canyon at the ECC Gym Complex. Tipoff is set for 5 p.m.
