San Jose, Calif. The Lady Hawks traveled to Evergreen College in a battle of Hawks. Lady Hawks battled, but unfortunately returned home with a 1-3 loss.

The Lady Hawks got off to a fast start when in the 5th minute freshman Lakshmi Vallabhaneni played a ball into freshman Nariyah O'Brien and she put it into the back of the net. Hawks held onto the lead until the 20th minute when Evergreens forward got behind the Hawks backline dribbled the keeper and put the ball in the back of the net to tie up the game. In the 22nd minute of the game Evergreens offense found the back of the net again and the Lady Hawks now were down 1-2. In the 40th minute Evergreen found the back of the net to take a 1-3 lead before half. 

Lady Hawks came out inspired in the 2nd half and took over the game. Spent most of the 2nd half in the Evergreen half, but the Hawks could not find the back of the net. The best two chances came from freshman forward Analise Villasenor, but the Evergreen keeper made some amazing saves to keep the game 1-3. 

Next up for the Lady Hawks they hit the road again to face ranked Cabrillo College for a Friday night lights game at 6pm. Hawks look to turn things around against a playoff bound team.
