Although they remain winless so far during the season, Cerritos College women's soccer interim head coach Tessa Troglia continues to see improvements with each game. The Falcons (0-4-0) traveled to Northern California to take on a very tough San Francisco City College team Saturday morning and were defeated, 4-0. The team returns home and will face another strong team on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. when they host San Bernardino Valley College.

"We actually played a great second half," said Troglia, as the Falcons surrendered just one goal during that time. "There were portions where we dominated and controlled the ball. We are improving every game."

The Rams (3-0-0) jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead less than four minutes into the game and by the end of the half, Cerritos trailed, 3-0. They were held without a shot in the first 45 minutes, but had five shots in the second half, with Vanessa Quintanar (California HS) and Victoria Adame (North HS) posting two each.
