The American River College Women's Water Polo program hosted San Joaquin Delta College on Wednesday, October 19th.
The Beavers started off the match strong with four goals by Natasha Dykman and one goal by Alyssia Ullensvang to take a 5-0 lead. However, Delta would respond with four straigt goals to cut the Beavers lead to 5-4. Natasha Stalie and Natasha Dykman would each add a goal before the end of the second quarter to take a 7-4 lead into halftime.
The second half would be dominated by Delta College as they would score 13 goals and hold the Beavers to only 2 goals, leading to a final score of 17-9.
The Beavers will be back in action on Thursday, October 27th, as they travel to play Fresno City College at 3:30 PM.
