Win streak snapped as Viking bats go quiet at Ohlone

After scoring 55 runs and pounding out 69 hits during its recent five-game winning streak, the West Valley baseball team's bats went silent Tuesday in a 10-1 loss at Ohlone. Singles from Danny O'Reilly and Tyler Schrader and a double from Pako Vehikite were all the Vikings (12-14, 6-3 Coast-Golden Gate) could muster off the Renegades (21-5, 6-0 Coast-Pacific). WVC starter Amrin Dhillon kept Ohlone in check until the Renegades erupted for seven runs in the fourth. The Vikings host Gavilan (6-18, 1-8 CP) Thursday (3/28). First pitch is 2:30pm.
