The Falcons looked to carry last game energy into this match, and they did just that. In the first half midfielders Ani Lopez, Kate-Lynn Jimenez, and Amber Moreales all attacked the goal with purpose. Of all 3, Ani lopez would hit not only the games only goal, but her second of the season. Defensively Solano played great throughout the first half. It was the second half where the Falcons faced adversity. Butte began getting physical in their quest for points. Coach Pernile did an amazing job at keeping the team in the game, but unfortunately it was too late as Solano was ultimately edged by Butte 3 to 1.

Solano now sits at 1-4 on the season, as they have two more games until conference play.

The Falcons will have 4 days to rest as they travel to American River College on Tuesday, September 24, at 3:00 pm.
