The No. 4 De Anza College men's soccer team will host No. 12 Taft College on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
In the first round of the CCCAA Northern California Playoffs, the Mountain Lions (13-2-5 overall) had an opening-minute goal hold up for a 1-0 win against Lake Tahoe, while the Cougars (12-4-6) upset No. 5 Butte in PKs.
The De Anza-Taft winner will face the winner between No. 1 Hartnell and No. 8 Fresno. Two more victories will advance teams to the state championship weekend (Dec. 3-5) at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
Ticket prices, set by the CCCAA: $12 general admission; $8 for identified students, faculty, staff, senior citizens (age 60+), and children under 12 years of age.
