Falcons Drop Two to Roadrunners
Folsom, CA – The Falcons (3-7) faced the Butte College, Roadrunners (8-5) on Friday afternoon for a non-conference double header.
In game one, the Falcons were only able to scored two runs on 11 hits, while the Roadrunners scored three runs on eight hits to take game one by a score of 3-2. Isabella Savala faced 30 batters in 7 innings and gave up three runs while striking out 2 batters.
In the second game, the Roadrunners scored six runs on 14 hits to sweep the doubleheader as the Falcons were only able to score three runs on nine hits. Starting pitcher, Angelina Baquera pitched four innings and allowed five runs on 10 hits. Entering the game in relief of Baquera was Marissa Alders who pitched three innings and gave up one run on four hits while striking out two.
