M. SOCCER: FIRST HOME GAME IS A WINNER

Playing the first seven games of the season on the road, the Hornets finally got to play at home, and they made it count beating Cuyamaca College 1-0.

The lone goal of the game came toward the end of the first half when Pablo Lozano took advantage of a short shot that was sharply kicked past the goalie.

Fullerton had a few other opportunities to score but the ball either sailed too high or bounced in Cuyamaca's favor.

It was a physical but clean game where FC defenders flew to the ball outworking their opponent earning the team's 4th shutout of the season.

Goalie Andres Ramirez was solid for the Hornets making 4 saves on the day.

Up Next: Fullerton (5-2-1 overall) will host Compton College for a non-conference game this Friday, September 24th at 3:00 pm.
