Kirkila, Barinov and Dinh Score Wins but Warriors Fall to Cerritos

TORRANCE, Calif. – El Camino College found itself in a hole early and was never able to recover in a 6-3 Inland Empire Athletic Conference loss to Cerritos Thursday afternoon at the ECC Tennis Courts.

The Warriors were swept in the doubles portion of the match to fall into an early 3-0 hole and were unable to stop their losing skid despite splitting the singles matches.

Ignas Kirkila, George Barinov and Andre Dinh all scored singles victories for the Warriors with Barinov doing so in three sets.

The Warriors return to action Tuesday with a road contest at Victor Valley. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
