Citrus College came alive on offense Tuesday afternoon and took down LA Valley 4-0 in its first Western State Conference contest on the road.

The Owls improve to 5-2-1 and start conference 1-0-0. The Monarchs drop to 2-6-1, 0-1-0 with their sixth-straight loss.

Four different players scored for the Owls while Deziree Valdez only had to make two saves to preserve the shutout.

Berenice Mancinas got the scoring spree going with a goal in the 35th minute as Abigail Salvador picked up the assist.

Five minutes later, Riley Van Der Loo found Kaylee Sanchez to put Citrus up by two before halftime.

Salvador found the back of the net for herself in the 80th minute before Van Der Loo capitalized off an Alyssa Lopez assist to seal the 4-0 victory.

The Owls host Antelope Valley on Friday, kicking off at 1:00 p.m.
