The 3C2A Student-Athlete Health and Wellness Committee is responsible for periodic review and monitoring of issues impacting the health and wellness of student-athletes, including those emanating from non-academic barriers. These responsibilities as designated by the board of directors include review of legislation and policies that may affect academic, athletic, and overall well-being of student-athletes. Upon board request, the health and wellness committee may undertake specific reviews of issues affecting student-athlete health, wellness, and personal development. The mission of the health and wellness committee will be further enhanced by including the perspectives of a wide array of professional and constituency groups including, but not limited to, student services professionals, athletic counselors/advisors, athletic trainers, athletic directors, health center and mental health professionals, social workers, player development professionals, high school directors, and insights from current and past student-athletes.

The 3C2A Student-Athlete Health and Wellness Committee has developed this “locker room” of resources for the membership to utilize in the initiation and/or enhancements of programs to support student-athletes.
